Now in its 27th year, New Mexico’s August Folk Dance Camp offers world-class dance opportunities in the heart of beautiful New Mexico.
- Intimate, friendly setting
- Moderate cost with weekend option available; no charge for children 3 and under
- Dancers of all levels welcome – partners not required
- Themed costume parties, “just dance” sessions and “anything-goes” after-parties
- Swimming (weather permitting)

Camp runs Thursday lunch through Sunday lunch

Registration begins Thursday at 10:00 a.m.

First teaching session begins Thursday at 1:30 p.m.

Accommodations/Amenities Camp is held on the campus of New Mexico Tech University in Socorro, NM.

Registration
You can attend camp in a number of ways: as an adult single, Fa couple, a student (13 - 21), youth (4 - 12), or on scholarship. Attend for the entire camp or just the weekend. Children, ages three and under are free.
A variety of prices are available for camp ranging from $205 - $285 (adults). Youth prices ranges from free (0-3 years) to $130. Family prices are also available. For mail-in registration, please download the registration form for complete details. To register online, click here.

Scholarships
A limited number of camp scholarships cover half the tuition fee in exchange for helping with tasks during camp (serving snacks, cueing
music, sweeping the dance floor and so forth). Interested? In exchange for working throughout camp, receive a scholarship for half of the camp fee. Work commitment begins Thursday 10 a.m. and ends Sunday 1 p.m. For more information contact: Karen Bunch (505-341-9004).

NM August Dance Camp is entirely run by volunteers. Please help us out by signing up for a small chore to help keep camp running smoothly. Your volunteer participation is greatly appreciated!
Camp T-shirts
 We are pleased to present the 2010 Camp T-shirt, designed by Erica Kretzman. Please order your camp T-shirts and DVD when you register for camp.
T-shirts are $18 each.
Standard cut men's shirts are available in sizes S, M, L, and XL
Ladies shirts are fitted and are available in sizes XS, S, M, L and XL
Standard cut youth shirts are available in sizes S, M and L
